The fixture combines efficient LED lighting with patented mosquito protection technology to keep patio, decks and yards safe all year. Not only are these systems easy to use, but they are also silent, odorless and invisible during operation.
Each fixture provides mosquito protection for 110 square feet, which translates into four fixtures for the average deck or patio. The system takes just 15 minutes to be effective and lasts for 216 hours of use before cartridges need to be replaced.
Here are some other things to know about the technology:
- Fixtures are controlled from either a timer or transformer, which enables automatic operation at any time of day or night
- Each transformer takes up 8 fixtures, so the size needs to be increased after this point
- If you use an existing transformer, you still need to separate the timer from the lights
- The cost of each light fixture is $250, and $225 per additional light (plus an installation fee)
- In the case that lighting is not needed or fixtures can be added to existing lights, there is a Haven Mosquito Repellent Fixture option
