Landscape Enhancement Manager

Job Summary:
The successful candidate for LANDSCAPE ENHANCEMENT MANAGER should possess a minimum of 2-3 years experience in proper pruning methods, seasonal color installation, mulching, plant installation, and crew management. Person should be clean cut, presentable, and well spoken because of frequent client interaction. This is a hands on position, the applicant must be hardworking, organized, motivated and able to work in various weather conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the safety and management of crew members
- Will be responsible for ensuring all crew members are in company uniform, and are wearing the proper safety gear as required (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, etc.)
- Responsible for loading materials and equipment and departing shop by target time each morning
- Responsible for pruning, mulching, installing plants and sod, installing seasonal color and perennials, and assisting in the proactive management of clients' residential properties.
- Responsible for ensuring properties are maintained to the high level of quality that is expected by a customer of Green Impressions
- Responsible for identifying issues within the landscape on the accounts that you service, recording those issues and reporting them to your manager
- Responsible for keeping trucks and equipment clean and presentable
- Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and reporting issues to your manager
- Support branch manager with enhancement goals and objectives
- Ability to speak Spanish and English a plus
Qualifications:

- Two or Four year degree in Turf, Landscaping, Horticulture or related discipline is a plus, but not required;
- 2-3 years of landscape enhancement/detail experience preferred
- Must be familiar with and able to operate dump truck, truck with trailer, backpack blower, tiller, chainsaw, hand pruners, pole pruners, gas powered shears, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to work at a fast pace all year, including the heat of the summer.
- Must be able to read and write English for the purpose of record keeping and following instructions.
- This position involves a heavy emphasis on pruning and must be proficient in proper methods
- Planting of Trees, shrubs, groundcovers and perennials
- Bed maintenance of existing beds and creating new beds
- Pruning of small trees, shrubs, hedges and groundcovers
- Mulching of beds
- Installation and rotation of seasonal flower beds
- Identifying ways to improve the ‘curb appeal’ of our contracted properties
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass pre-hire drug test required
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
